Recently, my younger brother Carlo moved to London to finish up his last semester in college. To be within 45 minutes of family, to be in the same timezone, just to be on the same side of the ocean - I am one happy girl. The way my expat life has worked out, I only get to see him but once or twice a year.
The week after Carlo arrived to the UK, Steven and I left for our trip to India and now after much anticipation he is coming to visit with his gorgeous girlfriend (who also moved from LA to the UK) to spend a weekend with us in Holland.
